Council provides, maintains and develops parks, reserves and facilities for the purpose of recreation, beautification, conservation of the natural environment and public access to both active and passive recreation opportunities.
Major facilities include Ohui Domain, Ohiwa Domain, Waiotahe Domain and Memorial Park.
