The role of our Workforce Development team is to ‘join the dots’. They look at the big picture and work with training providers, industry, government agencies and iwi partners to identify barriers, fill skill gaps and connect people with the support they need. They make sure local people have every opportunity to find local work that suits them.
Our Workforce Development Team send out regular 'Employment Opportunities and Information' emails. The emails can include information on training opportunities, where to find help with CV writing, and lists of vacancies that they are aware of. You can use our online form to sign up to receive the emails, and/or let us know if you are looking for work, or to ask a specific question of the team.
