About the role
Do you have strong organisational skills and love working within systems and procedures. Do you enjoy working across multiple areas, with a broad range of people? We are looking for a Project Administration Officer to join our Community Services and Development Group, reporting to the Operations and Officer Manager.
You will work with project leaders within our organisation with the added opportunity of being part of the Harbour Development Team as they complete their final year of construction.
The role will include coordination of workshops and meetings, accurate minutes delivered in a timely manner. You will assist with the occasional lunch cover for Councils Front Desk and assist the Property Officer by completing desktop maintenance requests, which would include contacting Contractors, completing Purchase orders and ensuring work has been completed.
About you
You will be able to work efficiently and independently across all groups and enjoy bringing a systematic approach to the role. You will be pro-active to ensure all administration requirements are completed on time and be able to build successful relationships with internal and external customers, iwi and hapū and key stakeholders. You will have:
- High level of attention to detail
- Relevant work experience or training in administration
- Strong organisational skills
- High level of computer literacy using Microsoft Office
- An understanding of the Local Government sector
- Current driver’s licence.
