Library Assistant Customer Experience and Library Technician

Te Tāhuhu o Te Rangi stands proud in a prominent spot and is a welcoming space in Ōpōtiki that houses all sorts of library services. We will be saying a sad farewell to a few staff soon, so we are looking for positive, diligent team players to join our library whānau.

We have two positions available:

• Library Assistant Customer Experience
• Library Technician

Working with the public is rewarding and at times challenging. You’ll need to be confident and proactive - ready to work in a public environment with a wide range of customers. A commitment to on-going learning and training is also important.

Ideally you love:

• Ōpōtiki and know it well
• Working with all sorts and all ages
• Building relationships
• Systems and technology
• People and books

Ideally you are:

• Calm and confident
• Enthusiastic to provide high value services for our communities.
• A great communicator – written, oral and social media.
