Long Term Plans
We're currently consulting on our 2021-2031 Long Term Plan and would like to get your feedback on our proposals. Check out our 2021-2031 Long Term Plan consultation page for full information.
The Long Term Plan lists Council's activities for the next 10 years and covers everything we do and how we pay for it. It sets the budget for the next decade, but gets reviewed every 3 years.
When the plan is being developed individuals, organisations and businesses can have their say on Council's suggestions for the direction, priorities, programmes and budgets for the next 10 years.
Our current LTP went out for public consultation on 25 April 2018 and after receiving submissions and holding a hearings meeting on 12 June the final 2018-2028 LTP was adopted at an Extra Ordinary Council meeting on 30 June 2018.
