"I have always wanted to ride a horse along the beach.  It looks so beautiful and I was so jealous just sitting on the beach watching others so Kelly and I booked our own trek.  It was awesome.  As beautiful as I though it would be.  We're going again next summer."

Annie Russell

“Our whole family enjoyed the rodeo, and has come for the past 3 years.  What we like is the ruggedness of the cowboys and wild bulls.  Its good to see the large crowd that come along….and there is plenty of food on offer.  We like how you can sit on the river stop bank, kick your jandals off, and get a great view of the arena.”

We got to try the mud slide before it even opened.  It was really fast and some of us fell off and roled down the hill.

Lots of people came and sometimes it was  really busy.

Tyla Hayes

“The kids really enjoyed the sand castles.  Some went at it like professionals, while others just meandered along.  If you aren’t into making sand castles then you’ll enjoy just looking at all the varied types of sandcastles that people come up with.  This is good ole fund that doesn’t cost you anything.  You can bring along a picnic and spend the whole day at the beach.  The kids will play and swim all day.”

The rivers are clean and there are heaps of swimming holes.  We spent the whole day there.

Rika Family

They showed us how to catch eels. Yuck they are slimy! Some people ate them byt not me.

Alex

With snoorkles on you can see everthing under the water.  I saw lots of fish and a star fish and big huge crab.  It came right at me.  Some of the seaweed tickled my legs and gave me a fright.

Dad says we can do it again soon.  Choice!

Nicolas

“It was dirtier than I really expected…and yes the mud gets absolutely everywhere."

Donna

“What a thrill…you go down so fast that your throat ends up in your toes.  Definitely a must do activity for the whole family.  We would recommend the mud slide to everyone.  It was neat to walk across to the ocean and swim….we had a ball.  Also, we were so glad we had wet suits on….other wise be prepared to get the biggest wedgie ever."
